Buy some pink stuff,

it's a girl!
I thought all along it was a boy, but I was totally wrong :)
Phil & I are both very excited,
This is almost like have the first one over again.
I'm going to be starting from scratch,
and I can't wait for the shopping to begin.
Everything looks perfect and normal.
They said I am measuring consistant for a April 3 due date.
We have a first name picked out, but can't agree on a middle name, so I would love hear suggestions if anyone has any. We want something short, simple and sweet for the middle name.

Halloween 2009

Lots of trick or treating
too much candy
and one very adorable vampire
It couldn't have been a better Halloween

Make-up courtesy of Phil

I like this one, he is licking his lips after a fresh kill

Rossi's first haircut

He got his hair cut (professionally) for the first time at the beginning of August. He did such a good job sitting still (only on Phil's lap, there was no way he was going to sit by himself ;) He has a lot more hair now then in this picture even.

the hairstylist was really good about letting Rossi see the clippers and how they work before starting, which is huge for him, he loves to see how everything works.

getting back into things

I haven't been up to taking pictures lately, but Melisa needed some of the kids and her. I was overjoyed to do a photoshoot. Actual photoshoots can be more inspiring then just shooting Rossi around the house. I'm a little rusty but I think these turned out. I think now I need to set up a "photoshoot" for Phil and Rossi :)

Aww Jade, never shy in front of the camera

I just love this one, I think it shows his sweet spirit

The last picture of the day turned out to be the best family one.

Every mom or mom to be needs one of these

I love this, found it here.

Here's my stats, as per some of your request's.

I'm due April 3, 2010
I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant (yay for being 1/3 of the way done!)
I find out what I'm having in the middle of November, can't wait!
And yes we were trying, it was not a surprise (maybe a surprise that it took so long ;)
Oh yeah and my baby is about the size of a large lime right now :)

Thanks for all the comments and well wishes. I apprciate all your comments.

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

I'm pregnant...

that's the reason for the lack of posts. I have been terribly sick, but I think things are starting to turn around. Maybe it was the sound of my baby's heartbeat today that has suddenly breathed new life into me, but I'm glad I'm starting to feel like myself again.
Self portrait a couple of days after I found out.

4 years!!

I just wanted to say happy 4th wedding anniversary to my lover and best friend. You push me to reach my full potential. You make me a stronger, more confident person. I love you. ~Babe

Summer means....

....lots of camping.
To me that is,
I'm sure we don't go as often as Phil would prefer.

the blurry(or out-of-focus) project

One out-of-focus photo is a mistake,

ten out-of-focus photos are an experimentation,

one hundred out-of-focus photos are a style.

~Unknown

I have a new project. Found out about it here. I am really excited about it. It's a little more abstract you can say. Not for everyone, but I am really inspired by it. It's the blurry or out-of-focus project. I take 100 pictures out of focus to create more of an interpretable feeling. Let me know what you think, I love feedback.

Flowers from my yard. I love the bokeh on this one.

This one would not be considered blurry, it's depth of field, but I liked it and wanted to throw it in :)

Weekend poject

Maxi enjoying the shade in our newly fenced backyard. What a luxury I can't believe we went so long without. We bought this house brand new, so we had to do all the yard stuff (sprinklers, grass, trees, plants, everything). 5 years, 3 dogs, and 1 toddler later we finally have a fence. Ahhh. It is so nice to let the dogs roam free and let Rossi play in the backyard.

Phil made this retaining wall/gravel patio.
I love going out there to eat my pb & j sandwiches :)
Relax in the breeze while the baby sleeps.
I need to get some lounge chairs out there so I can read my book or take a nap.

Yee-haw

A couple from the Rodeo. The second one is blurred on purpose, it is a new photo project I'm working on. I'll have more details for you later. But for now enjoy these two SOOC (straight out of camera) pics.
P.S. I have no idea who this lady is or even what she looks like from the front, I just liked her whole rodeo get-up.

Day 147

June 7, 2009
The last day.
Here it is the very last shot of my 365 photo a day challenge.
Rossi arranged all the food on this tupperware top.
Then he went into my sister's purse, pulled out her phone & placed it on the tray.

Day 146

June 6, 2009
Escaping.
My nephew & his friend hiding out from the party, playing a board game.
They didn't even know I took this picture.
This is the same gorgeous light in my sister's bedroom :)

Berry picking

When I was in Cali, we went berry picking. It was a lot of fun. They had a little cafe on the farm, with box lunches & olallieberry pie (it was divine)
These first two pics are of my niece & my sister.
They snuck over to the forbidden berry picking side, I just had to get a few pics.

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

I love this bag on the bottom, and it's on SALE, yay!
I think I just might have to add it to my collection.
There are too many good things on sale at Nordie's, I'm going to have a hard time choosing what to buy :)
They have it in grey too.
Click here for bottom bag & here for top bag.

We're going to have a problem.

Scratch that, we already have a problem.
Rossi is just getting to the age that tv is now interesting.
It's the only time he sits still for more then 2 minutes.
He gets up in the morning, he turns on the tv.
He sneaks away and turns on the tv.
After lunch he turns on the tv.
He is always turning on the tv.
We are going to have to do something about this.

It did make it easy for me to take his picture:)

I like that you can see his little trade mark Galata elfin ear in this one.

Day 145

June 5, 2009
This is when I knew it was overtaking my life.

I had been getting ready to leave, working & traveling this day. I arrived in Cali at like 11:30pm. I told myself I was just going to lay down with Rossi until he fell asleep
(I usually don't do this, but we were in a new place and he was cranky from being on a plane instead of sleeping. Note to self: never again fly when it is an hour passed the baby's bedtime. He doesn't sleep on a plane no matter how tired he is ;))
I fell asleep too,
then woke up at 2:30am thinking,
"I haven't taken my pic of the day yet, I better get up half asleep and do it".
At this point I knew my challenge was getting ridiculous,
and I needed to stop.
I didn't though, I thought no it's fine I'll keep it up.
After having a good talk (and cry) with my sister, I realized that there are far more important things in my life then taking a picture every day.
That still wasn't the end for me.
I had decided that I wouldn't go out of my way to take a picture,
but if I was inspired to take a picture everyday I would keep up the challenge.
That lasted another 2 days
On the third day I got busy with life and forgot about photography,
and the challenge was broken.
Then I let go of it,
I have never felt better about giving up on something in my whole life.
I congratulate those who can do it and make it work, but for me it doesn't.
And I am so happy to be done :)

Photo by me, this is Daphne, my nephews dog.

Our Fourth

We went to the Freedom festival and then came home and set off fireworks. It was nice, just the three of us, our own little family.

I had a lot of fun shooting all of the pictures at night, it was a good change from the norm.

Rossi was fascinated & excited by the fireworks

Here is Rossi trying to jump on the poppers.

This picture cracks me up, it's too cute to pass up :) We have been working on jumping lately, this is Rossi's attempt at it.

these last two pics are both SOOC (straight out of camera)

Day 142

June 2, 2009
for some reason i just do...
like this picture, I'm not sure why. it just popped out at me. Maybe it's the meaning behind it. James is Phil's dad's name and Phil's middle name. He also has his dad's birthday at the bottom of his name. He passed away a few years ago, and this is Phil's dedication to him.

Sunday, June 28, 2009

I like them both...

What do you think? Color or black & white?
This is my niece Jade. I took a couple quick ones, we are getting together soon to do a whole shoot. I can't wait, Jade is a dream to photograph.

Nathan & Kristina

These two are great. I have taken photos of them before (click here). They know the drill and even came up with a few ideas of their own.

I love this one :)

Daphne, their little baby

I forgot to mention that Nathan is my nephew and has posed for me before: here, here, & most recently here.

You are not alone

In jr. high I used lay on my bed listening to Michael Jackson "You are not alone" (on my discman with my earmuff headphones :))
and
dream I was Lisa Marie Presley.
Side note: Have I mentioned that I also liked David Bowie in "Labrinth", yeah I know I had a skewed since of what was sexy when I was younger :)

Enough of the embarrassing confessions

Sure he went crazy, but there is no denying he is the GREATEST pop singer of all time, and he is still one of my favorite recording artists.

So I think today I will pay tribute to him by listening to him on my slightly updated equipment (my ipod ;) and writing this post.

Farewell MJ,

your performances & music will be missed.

Day 142

June 1, 2009
I'm not doing the 365 photo a day challenge anymore.
I will post through day 148 (that's how far I got through the project). I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. It was a really tough decision for me to make. I thought about quitting several times but could never bring myself to do it. Then when I went to visit my sister I realized that it had become an obsession, I was thinking about it CONSTANTLY. I was waking up at 2:30 in the morning stressing about how I hadn't taken a picture, then getting up half awake to do it. I wasn't putting time and effort into the things I love most (my husband and baby). I was stressing over it and photography was no longer fun for me. I don't want to take pictures because I have to, I want to take pictures because I am inspired and love doing it. It taught me a lot, I think it was a good experience, but I'm glad I'm done with it. This is a journey for me and not one that I have to learn everything about right now. I realize that time and patience will make me a better photographer, not taking a photo every day. I will still try to post pics a couple of times a week, so keep checking in.

Finding the light

I love finding different ways to capture light. I went to a mission while visiting my sister. This was one I took from inside the chapel. It is SOOC (straight out of camera) my favorite type of pictures!

Thursday, June 18, 2009

Papa

I love, love this picture of my dad :) I took this in my sister's bedroom. She has the best light, I am very envious!

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

My niece & nephew

My nephew Nathan, his girlfriend Kristina & their cute little puppy. I really love this shot because it wasn't posed at all. They just happen to be sitting there ans having a good time. I want to take more pictures like this one, they are my favorites. I have sooo many more to post, but not enough time to post them. Hope you like the teaser girls!!

My niece Shelby.

Shelby's boyfriend Steven.

i'm still here.

just enjoying vacation. be back soon.

Chris & Merissa

This is Chris and Merissa. Phil and Chris work together. That is how Merissa and I met. We have become good friends and like to take long walks :) I love that she only lives 2 blocks from me and that she does nails, in particular, my nails ;) I had a lot of fun shooting these two love birds and their boys. I hope you enjoy them Merissa!

Day 141

May 31, 2009
Just a teaser.
One for my good friend Merissa. I will post more later, but for now enjoy just one :)

Day 140

May 30, 2009
Baby, baby.
One from a friends baby shower.

Day 139

May 29, 2009
I think this picture looks dreamy, I like it.

Day 138

May 28, 2009
Writing with light.
I'm fascinated with light too. If you can tell I wrote my name with the light. It's a little compressed but I still like it.

Day 135-137

May 25-27
Plants.
The far left picture was taken with my new lens :)

Day 134

May 24, 2009
Camping.
This picture makes me smile. Rossi is very fascinated with light (flashlights mainly). This was last Sunday night, when we went camping. I'm not a big fan of camping, especially when it pours most of the time. Other then the rain it was a good camping experience. This was Rossi's first camping trip. He did really well sleeping (which was what I was most worried about). That is when I took this picture. He needed the flashlight to play with so he could fall asleep. Maybe next time we go it wont rain and our air mattress wont have a leak :)

Saturday, May 30, 2009

I'm going back to Cali....

Just for a vacation :) I will be in the San Jose area next week. If you would like to schedule a photoshoot, please email me at brookebelle84@hotmail.com and we will get something worked out! Here is a link to see pics from my favorite shoots: click here

See you on the flip side :)

Date Night.
Phil was good enough to participate in this photo. You can see the excitement in his face :) Have a good weekend everyone!

Day 131

May 21, 2009
My new flowers.
I love white flowers in my garden.

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

just words

I am feeling like a giddy little school girl right now :)) my neighbor just let me ride his horse around the block, it's been ages since I've been on a horse. My knight and shining armor didn't even get to see :( He was in bed sleeping (I think he deserves it after working 19 1/2 hrs yesterday, then going back to work at 8 am this morning. I couldn't ask for a more motivated hard working husband. I am grateful for him :)

On another note, this came in the mail today. It wasn't supposed to be here until Friday. I was pleasantly surprised, and must I say that I am in love with my new toy. I can't wait to use it on my 3 photo shoots this weekend.

Thursday, May 21, 2009

Day 130

May 20, 2009
Tuscan Steak.
My sister took me to the bookstore and said she would buy me a cookbook. She urged me to go with the Quick Recipe Book, but I chose Rachel Ray (big mistake, Phil liked none of the recipes it had to offer). A couple of months later I went out and got the cookbook Heather had originally suggested. I must say it is one of my favorite cookbooks. And this is one of my favorite recipes. It tastes like it came from a restaurant.

Day 124-129

May 14-19, 2009
I like this, I think I might start doing this instead of posting individually. The most excellent ones I will still do on their own.

Friday, May 15, 2009

on the other side

My mom, Rossi & I got our pictures taken by Justin Hackworth. You can check the rest out by clicking here.

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

Day 123

May 13, 2009
Springtime means being out in the yard every evening, neighbor kids, Rossi's first dirt bike ride, bbq's, laying on the grass, & hoping it never has to end. This is my definition of spring. What does spring mean to you?

Day 122

May 12, 2009
My little escape artist.

Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Day 121

May 11, 2009
Light's out.

Day 120

May 10, 2009
Mother's Day.
My brother and his wife making brunch. Corey made eggs benedict, which was excellent.

Me & Rossi

As soon as we got to Phil's sister's house, Rossi was attached to the play car. He wouldn't get out, so they had to share :)

Then we loaded everything up to go to the park. Phil had to peel Rossi off of the car. This was his look the whole car ride. He was pissed, because we followed the truck that had the play car in the back the whole way. Rossi was crying & grabbing for it. I think we know what we need to buy soon

He was trying to blow kisses, very cute

A sweet shot of Melisa & her daughter Jade

I couldn't resist getting a pic of the dog in her purse

I had a good mother's day, I hope everyone else did too!

Day 119

May 9, 2009
Oh how I love Saturdays.
This is how Rossi takes a picture, through the lens :)

blocks, blocks, blocks, everywhere

Day 118

May 8, 2009
He got his foot stuck in a plastic bowl. When he walked he looked like he had a peg leg, arr matey! I just had to take a pic :)

This is kind of a side note, but I just had to share. When Rossi talks it sounds like he has a french accent, it's too funny :)

I love sunflare. (Vegas, November 2008)

Day 117

May 7, 2009
Rossi has staked his claim on the 914.
Phil has been working on it a lot lately, he is trying to get it running good so he can start driving it. Anyway Rossi gets to play in the cab while his daddy works on it, he's one lucky kid :)

Meet my dog, Max. (September 2008)

Day 116

May 6, 2009
I just realized that I took photos of Rossi for the last five days of my challenge. I will be posting some from my archives to mix it up.

I took this one of Phil last September. I really like it :)

Day 115

May 5, 2009
Just one.
Hopefully I can get caught up today (I'm about a week behind on post's, oops)

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Day 112

May 2, 2009
I got a little carried away blogging and forgot to post day 112 in the right order, oops.
Took a couple workshops last saturday, here are a few from that.

Day 114

May 4, 2009
Scary.
These just made me fast forward about 15 years.

Day 113

May 3, 2009
A few from a sisters/couple shoot.
They are going to give them to their mom for mother's day. What a great idea.

Day 111

May 1, 2009
Rain, rain go away.

Day 110

April 30, 2009
I had no picture ideas. Phil was going through his ammo and said take a picture of my bullets. Voila, problem solved. Thanks Babe ;)

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Day 109

April 29, 2009
What's on your ipod?
I'm really into Red. They aren't a wildly popular band, but I think they are really good. I love how they are rock & roll, but they incorporate orchestra into their music. You can check it out by clicking here.

My other favorites are:

Aerosmith
Alicia Keys
Chevelle
Chicago
Christina Aguilera
Ciara
Cold Play
Collective Soul
Elton John
Eric Clapton
Evanescence
Fuel
James Blunt
Janet Jackson
Justin Timberlake
Kanye West (I don't like him as a person, just his music)
Led Zeppelin
Linkin Park
Michael Jackson
Nickelback
Ozzy
Paramore
Pink Floyd
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rihanna
Royal Bliss
Rush (this ones not on there right now, I need to get with Corey)
Seether
Stained
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
3 Doors Down
30 Seconds to Mars

What do you like to listen to?

Day 108

April 28, 2009
Making mischief.

I really, really like this picture for some reason. Maybe it's the intensity in his eyes.

Day 107

April 27, 2009
Cucumber & Tomato salad.
Hold the cucumber?
You would think because of the name I would have put cucumber in it. I was going to and when I got it out of the crisper it was frozen (frozen? Yes frozen) Apparently the little dial got changed to meat instead of veggies, which in turn gave me a frozen cucumber. I only know this because Phil figured it out for me. Thank goodness for Phil ;)

recipe:

1 cucumber (not frozen ;)
4 roma tomatoes
2 tablespoons evoo
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon course ground black pepper

slice cucumber & tomato into medium sized bowl. mix the rest of the ingredients in small bowl. pour over veggies.
*It tastes best if you let in marinate for about 20 minutes.

Sunday, April 26, 2009

Day 106

April 26, 2009
Beautiful things make me happy.
Phil bought me these yesterday. I love buying fresh cut flowers to put on my dining room table. You don't get much fresher then this, and you save some bucks. I'm lucky Phil will be keeping them alive, otherwise they wouldn't have a chance ;)
I also love morning light.

Day 105

April 25, 2009
When?
Did my Saturday nights start consisting of going to Home Depot? It snuck up on me, but I wouldn't have it any other way if it meant hanging out with these two.

Day 104

April 24, 2009
Rossi.

Day 103

April 23, 2009
Cuties.
I got them at Costco, they are a great miniature snack.

Day 102

April 22, 2009
Sweetness.
This is the reason I shoot.

Day 101

April 21, 2009
Walks.
I love how Princess's shadow looks so animated.

Also why I love walks

Day 100

April 20, 2009
Wow one hundred days, really?

Day 99

April 19, 2009
Same window, same child, different day.
I'm really loving the light that comes in through Rossi's window. And the faces he pulls :)

Friday, April 24, 2009

the Rossi shoot

these are some of my favorites of Rossi. He was in such a good mood. I think I might hang them on the wall too :)

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Day 98

April 18, 2009
Vulnerable.
I was reminded by another blogger to spread the word on the 365 photo a day challenge. As some of you know I am participating in it. I take one picture, at least, every day. Then to give myself added pressure and motivation I post at least one picture from every day on my blog. Sometimes I wonder why I took on this challenge (what did I get my self into?). It can be really hard to be that creative on a daily basis. But then I look back at all the pictures I've taken and ideas I've come up with. Most of my best pictures I would have never gotten if I didn't have this challenge to push me to be creative. Other days are not very creative at all. I feel vulnerable when I post a picture I am not particularly happy with, but I can't let myself and you down by not posting. I feel like I would be giving up on myself if I did that. Who would believe in me if I didn't believe in myself? Some days I just want to quit, but I think of the photographer I want to be. That motivates me to keep going every day.

So if you are wanting to grow creatively, then take on the challenge, and let me know. I would love to see your 365 day photo journey.

Day 97

April 17, 2009
Light.

Day 96

April 16, 2009
This is the, "when is dad going to be home?" look.

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Day 95

April 15, 2009
A chocolaty feast.
I hand held my camera at a 0"3 (or .3 of a second) shutter speed, to get this shot. For those of you who don't know, that's a long time for the shutter to be open and for me not to move. I am very proud of my self for getting it totally in focus.

Day 94

April 14, 2009
Cupcakes.
We had a cupcake buffet for Easter. It was lots of fun. I baked the cupcakes from scratch (and the icing too!) then I put all of the toppings and neon colored frosting out for people to decorate their own. It was less stressful for me, because everyone got exactly what they wanted and even came up with some cool designs.

Monday, April 13, 2009

Day 93

April 13, 2009
I know lots of Rossi lately.
I will try and switch it up this week. He has just been so photogenic lately (especially in this shoot). Sometimes I just can't help myself ;) I will be posting more from this set later.

I think this is my most favorite picture of Rossi ever. I just might have to blow it up and put in on the wall. It reminds me of this picture.

Day 92

April 12, 2009
Easter.
We had a good Easter. We hosted it at our house and tried to keep it simple. There was lots of eggs, candy, food and loved ones. I hope you all had a good Easter too.

Day 91

April 11, 2009
Blocks, blocks and more blocks.
We got Rossi some wooden blocks to play with. It came in a package of 100 pieces. I don't really think I thought this through. 100 blocks= a huge mess. The important thing is that Rossi loves them and hasn't really played with anything else since we brought them home. They were worth every penny and my sanity :)

Day 90

April 10, 2009
I just love these two.

Friday, April 10, 2009

Day 89

April 9, 2009
Just another day in Hollywood.

Thursday, April 9, 2009

Day 88

April 8, 2009
Sorry for the lame picture.
I had a rough day and realized at 11pm that I still needed to do my pic of the day. Leftover wood from the arch.

Day 87

April 7, 2009
True Delights.
They are made by Quaker with raspberry, almond, and dark chocolate chunks. It's a good treat without all the extra calories and sugar (only 140 calories & 8 grams of sugar). I haven't been able to get them the past few times at the store, that's how popular they are.

My other True Delight. Rossi grabbed my tripod and positioned it and then began arranging the plate and fork, like he was in charge of the photoshoot. It was very cute.

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

Day 86

April 6, 2009
The Arch.
I have always dreamed of having a Dining room like this. It took Phil only two Sunday's to build it. I put my time in on it too. I absolutely love it!!! I think it gives it character and room separation. I feel like there is not so much dead/wasted space. Now I can paint the Great room one color and the Dining/Kitchen another. If we could only agree on colors :)

Before:

After:

Day 85

April 5, 2009
Footprints.
Phil was finishing up the the arch and Rossi wanted to help, of course. I wanted to capture the moment in a different way. I love how it turned out. Oh yeah I got to hold the board while Phil sprayed the texture, I had drywall mud on me everywhere! Luckily it washes off very easily.

Sunday, April 5, 2009

Day 84

April 4, 2009
I've been very inspired lately by dark light.
What really got me started on it was this post. I hope to play around with it a little more, see what cool stuff I can come up with.

The Recipe....

a couple of you asked and here it is, the Banana Bread Recipe.

ingredients:

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
8 medium banana's mashed
4 cups flour
*optional: 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (i did about 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips in the pictured bread.)

directions:

mix all ingredients except flour. gradually blend flour into mixture. pour into sprayed loaf pans (2 large or 4-5 small). bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. do not under bake. cool on rack for 5 minutes, then remove from pans.

Let me know if you enjoy it as much as I do!

Day 83

April 3, 2009
Watermelon.
I love watermelon, but I hate cutting it up. Because I hate it so much, I only buy it when I can find it cut up already. As you know they charge you more, a lot more, for the service. So I decided to scoop it like ice cream. What makes your life simpler?

Day 82

April 2, 2009
Sweet feet.
Rossi always likes to body slam me when I'm laying on the floor. I was laying on my stomach, so I had to just aim, shoot and hope I got something good.

Day 81

April 1, 2009
We're serious about our snack time around here.

Day 80

March 31, 2009
Girl Scout cookies.
I love this time of year when I get my Girl Scout cookies. They didn't have my favorites (Samoas) but Thin Mint will just have to do ;)

Day 79

March 30, 2009
Baked Ziti.
I love my Italian dishes, this one I think happens to my favorite. This was right before I put it in the oven.

Day 78

March 29, 2009
My free babysitter.
My nephew Nathan. We are only 6 years apart, so I've always been more of a friend then an aunt to him. They call him the baby whisperer back home in Cali. Kids gravitate toward him. He is the best babysitter and one day will be an awesome dad :) He is not always the easiest person to get to really smile in front of the camera. That is why I love these two. I feel like I captured his REAL smile this time. Nathan has been posing for me for years and we always have a good time shooting together.

Day 77

March 28, 2009
Bowling.
Phil & I went out with actual adults on Saturday night. We went out to eat and then bowling. As you all know Phil hates his picture to be taken. So to get this pic I would wait until he was about to throw the ball and I would run up behind him, take two pictures, then hurry and run back to my seat before he turned around. Phil never even knew I was behind him :) It took a couple of times, but I love the way this picture turned out. Random fact: We have our own bowling balls and Phil has his own bowling shoes, lol.

Day 76

March 27, 2009
Fire.
Phil barbecued and I thought the fire looked cool.

Day 75

March 26, 2009
My most favorite shoes.

Day 74

March 25, 2009
I'm feeling very green today.
Got these green recycled, reusable bags at Albertson's. You can pick them up for a dollar a piece. They hold a lot more then I thought they would. I like to leave them in my car, so I remember to use them. In what ways are you green?

I made Banana bread yesterday. It was very tasty! I did one with chocolate chips and one without. Rossi started freaking out when I mashed up the bananas, he expected they were for him, lol. They are his favorite food.

Day 73

March 24, 2009
Hanging with a Hero.

Another one of Rossi's Batman shirts.

I love our identical expressions in this pic :)

Rossi & Princess having a standoff

Day 72

March 23, 2009
Light.
My awesome talented husband put can lighting in our kitchen on Sunday. I feel like I have a totally new kitchen! Man lighting does a lot. If I was going to suggest to any one a relatively inexpensive upgrade, it would definitely be the can lighting. I just want to hang out in there all day and clean. My husband said that if he knew that he would have put it throughout the whole house, lol. Onto the next project, we are building an arch between our dining room and great room. Don't worry I'll post pics :)
